Skateboards aren't just for skating on! They can be used as wall art too!
This deck design was inspired by my Black and Korean cultural heritage, and how sometimes being a mixed race person feels as though you are walking balanced in-between two worlds at once.
It features a white tiger and a black panther, the Korean Taegeuk (태극), and four black trigrams which represent the four classical elements (heaven, earth, fire, water).
The deck itself is a classic 7-3/4 popsicle shaped, 100% Canadian Maple board and is made here in North America!
Pre-order options include either just the skate deck itself, or the deck and wall hanger hardware for an additional $15 to your order.
PRODUCTION AND SHIPPING DETAILS
Production will take approximately 1-3 weeks and boards will ship out once I have them in hand which will be sometime in August. This pre-order campaign is not included in my $65+ order free-shipping policy.
International folks: Please be aware that international mail is still a little backed up, so your order may take longer than expected to arrive.
ACCOUNTABILITY
This will be my 22nd "kickstarter" campaign! Being the person who began the enamel pin Kickstarter trend, I am no stranger to running (and fulfilling) crowdfunding campaigns. Here's a look at my 21st campaign!
As with anything that involves production delays are a possibility. I've used this skateboard manufacturer for previous skate deck projects of mine and trust in them and their quality, so I do not see any foreseeable delays or issues.
I pride myself in staying transparent and upfront! I plan on updating this page with updates and such so folks can stay in the loop. :)
